I realize now that a raw plant based diet is such a sensible healthy way to eat as it has proven to reset my body's natural internal hunger and full-feeling factor so that I do not overeat or have unhealthy cravings. Obviously this has been a welcome perk. Its easy now to just listen to my body. I've since read that processed and 'dead' cooked foods turn off those natural hormones that tell you that you are full and to stop eating. That is why we tend to overeat. Plus dead cooked foods have twice the calories of raw foods, so you are getting a double negative whammy. I hope your husband embraces the concept, mine did and now he prefers most of our raw dishes at home to cooked ones.
