Well, I think of a supplement as something you "add" because you are not getting enough from the main source. I absolutely do not believe in any supplementation at all. The reason is that if you are eating your foods while they have life giving nutrients, you will be giving your body the best there is available to do all that it needs to do. Besides the many gourmet rawfoods that imitate the cooked food versions that are available in the Totally Rawsome diet, are green smoothies, vegetable juicing, and salads with green leafy vegetables and live sprouts rich in vital nutrients. Sprouting multiples the nutrition found in food by hundreds percents. Most of the regular and so-called natural supplements out there are still processed in a way that they are dead. Therefore, you are just getting more of what you are already eating. Without the life element, you never come out with the same results. Plus, the way our living food was intelligently designed, it includes nutrients that have not even been discovered, some cannot be replicated, and all elements in tact synergistically work together to do the utmost job that they were specifically designed to do. Most people are not aware that many natural methods out there are using dead forms of supplementation
and some even contain no food ingredients at all, only chemicals. So, I always warn people in trying to take short cuts, you only cut yourself short of the potential to maximize your health. Just do what is right and eat the food that gives life in abundance. You only have vitality and years to add to your life. It is a blessing not only to yourself, but others that you will share your life with.
